Soie 100-3 Soie 100/3 is a fine twisted non-divisible 3-ply spun silk. It is perfect for stitching over one, dense stitches such as Queen and couching. There are over 215 colors on 50 meter spools.
Soie D Alger Silk Au Ver à Soie Soie d’Alger® (pronounced swa-dal-jay) is a 7-strand spun silk with a moderate lustre, smooth, soft. It is available in a range of 620 colours. It is made of the best quality spun silk (called strusas) which gives it an unrivalled regularity, lustrous and softness. The thread does not snarl in the needle and has a good tensile strength. It resists also very well to abrasion. Dyed in skeins to guarantee an homogeneous colour it is put on a 5 m. pull-skein or a 45 m. hank.
Soie de Paris Au Ver à Soie Soie de Paris is a 6 strand filament silk that is smooth, soft, and lustrous. It is available in a range of 77 colors, in the same colours as Soie d’Alger.
Soie Gobelins Soie Gobelins is a fine twisted filament silk. One strand is perfect for 30 count to 40 count linen. It is somewhat weightier than the Soie 100/3 yet lighter than the Soie Perlee. It has a visible twist and a beautiful sheen. There are 47 colors (same numbering as Soie d'Alger) on 50 meter spools.
